Name: Vel Ayasha Vel Ayasha is a local legend in the Kent music scene. His songs contain a wry wit not scene since the days of Wesley Willis. His video "Strange Magazine", detailing the true story of finding his girlfriend scantily clad in a disreputable publication, has a brief cameo with the esteemed writer/director Jorge Delarosa, who ironically, was also featured in that very same magazine. Name: Mike Akers Prior to being cast as Stephanie Bellman in the film "Black", Mike got his start as a mime in a local commercial for "650GOLD" in Cleveland. In addition to "Black", he is working on a small role in a Kent State University student film called "Listening to Rain". Until he gets his big break, he's working as a custodian for Kent State while attaining his Master of Fine Arts in Custodial Services (lol). One day soon he hopes to work in sitcoms and anything comedy related. In his spare time Mike can be found eating potato bugs, masturbating with sandpaper, and licking the buttholes of feral alley cats. |

Name: Jocelyn Roueiheb Jocelyn Roueiheb is an actor, voice over artist, writer, director and producer in the Northeast Ohio area. She has worked with PBS stations in Akron (Western Reserve) and Cleveland (Ideastream) as well as Kent State University Teleproductions where she is a student producer and resident voice over artist. Jocelyn has voiced commercials and shows which have aired on Sports Time Ohio and PBS, as well as corporate videos and exhibits such as the Luxor hotel's Titanic exhibit in Vegas. Although Jocelyn has a well-rounded background in all types of production, her first love is film and television. |

Name: Hank Fiorini I was born in Bombtown, USA aka. Youngstown, Ohio. I'm a Baby Boomer, lol, employed at GM, in Lordstown, OH for 24 years until July, 2006 and was a substitute teacher from Sept. 2006 - June 2007 and I decided not to renew my contract unless it included combat pay. I decided to give entertainment a try and my first gig was being an extra, coal miner, in "Walker Payne". I also work as a Brand Ambassador because I enjoy traveling to various venues to promote a wide range of products and services. Working with Matt, Brent and the rest of the gang was lots of fun because everyone is soooo nice! Very professional and I'm certain the final product will be fantastic and I'm very excited to see it soon. |

Name: Katherine Stamm When informed of the film "Black" she volunteered to help in anyway possible. We held her to it. Her home soon became Slow Mutants central as various scenes were shot in and around her home, strangers (sometimes covered in blood) slept in her living room and destroyed her bathroom. She paraded around in front of the cameras as a happy house frau on multiple occasions and was even forced at microphone point to record various classical piano pieces for royalty free atmospheric music. Amazingly she still talks to us. |

Name: Jorge Delarosa Jorge Delarosa is a full time student at Kent State University. He is an avid fan of cinema, and enjoys torturing his few friends with awful movies. "When I initially approached the concept of BLACK, it was just going to be an exercise of the mise-en-scene technique. Then I wrote it." says this young and handsome director. Truer words were never spoken by any other self-acclaimed writer and director. Name: Brent Simon Brent Simon is a jack of all trades and master of none. He was raised to be an IT guy, but followed a brief career as an Avionics Technician. After a minor bout with electrocution he opted for the family job of grocery clerk. While in that position he reached minor internet celebrity status after releasing the songs “Space_Camp” and “World_Wired_West”. Now the wind has blown him into the gaping maw of The Slow Mutants. He has been seen freeing the domestic cats of Kent so that they might return to the wild graceful creatures they once were, filthy buttholes and all. |

Name: Don King Don is a visual artist and musician, as well as an Assistant Professor of Art at Kent State University. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from Kent State, where he teaches Digital Media and Sculpture courses. In his spare time, Don can be found foraging for wild mushrooms or practicing new culinary techniques he learned from Food Network. Recently, Don has become obsessed with the exceptional cleanliness of the buttholes of Kent's feral alley cat community, and plans to shoot a documentary on the subject. |
